How well do you know your next-door neighbors?
Pretty well considering I've been here less than a year. On the downhill side there's a retired engineer who lost his wife last year. We talk over the fence all the time.
On the uphill side there's a retired professor and his wife, they spend a lot of time traveling and we caretake a little for them. They bring us interesting things from around the world. Nice people. They're in Australia now.
